Tokyo sightseeing

After a full day of shopping and clocking 13km (according to the Fitbit) we decided to walk to the Tokyo Government building to catch the sun go down. It's a bit of a stroll from Shinjuku Station and took about 15-20 minutes. The easiest was is to take the west exit from the lower floor. It is well sign posted. High up and free to go up, it has great views.

Although we've been there several times before, we headed to Asakusa with friends. Exit 1 from the subway brings you right out near the entrance to the gates and the lovely lead up to the temple. We spent an hour or so wandering about.

This was the first time we've ventured to the fish markets.
