The Grand Canyon

So we finally drove into Tusayan just outside of the Grand Canyon staying at the Holiday in for the massive price of $95 a night for three adults with breakfast. Yes you read correct! Now may I say it was freezing. Little did we know that give it 12 hours and it would be even colder reaching - 29 degrees Celsius. Yes that was the coldest they had hit. 

Dinner at a quaint steakhouse. There's really weren't too many places to choose from but it was warm and the food good. 

So the Grand Canyon is amazing, picturesque and so worth it. Add some snow and it blows you away. We drove in and parked in the canyon for the day. The entry for the car was $25 and we then used the free buses to get around.

 

 Did I mention it was cold? Really cold?

Someone had made some cute little snow men. 

 Matt thought he would give it a go.
