Vegas baby

If you're on a budget or a tad of a tight arse like me then Excalibur is a treat. $50 a night for 3 adults. Ridiculous. Good location too.

Was a tad chilly but we went for a wander on our first night.

After playing Myvegas on Facebook we had loads of free vouchers for buffets. First freebie was Mandalay Bay. Was pretty good. It even had free wine, champagne and beer but you did have to tip $1 for drinks.

It was an easy walk through the casinos from Excalibur through Luxor to Mandalay Bay.

Excalibur buffet for breakfast and Simon did bacon and maple syrup.

Loved the look of New York New York. Directly across the road from Excalibur.

And they had lots of pretzels to choose from and yes they were good.

MGM was on the other side and an easy walk.

For the bargain price of $8 you could try Coke products from around the world.

 Some were nicer than others.

A walk down to Paris.

And the infamous Bellagio.

The Bellagio Conservatory was gorgeous.

And The Venetian.

Then on to Caesars Palace.

A buffet stop for dinner. The Mirage buffet was definitely my favourite. Yum, yum, yum! Oops did I mention I'm struggling to do up my jeans?

The night time show at The Bellagio.

Matthew got his OP results while we were in Vegas so we celebrated with a dinner in NYNY.

Did I mention a wedding. Yes the classic Vegas wedding at the same place Bonjovi got married and yes Elvis married us.

Picked up in the stretch. It was free as long as you tipped the driver.

Wedding reception with pizza at NYNY.

 And frozen cocktails.

We trapped down to Freemont Street to eat lunch at a place Simon had read about.

Heart Attack Grill was aptly named. I ate it but it made me sick....physically sick!

Note to self don't eat here again!

An unexpected find that we hadn't planned on visiting was the Mob Museum. If you are a teacher or Police Officer bring evidence and you get in cheaper. We really enjoyed this p,ace and spent about 3-4 hours in there.m
